AMCHAMDR Consular Services

Our service promise is to accompany the AMCHAMDR member in the non-immigrant visa process, through our Consular Services we provide customize advise, indicate the necessary documentation, preparation for the appointment, and obtain answers to concerns about the process.

Important: The outcome of the application is in the hands and at the discretion of the U.S. Consulate in the Dominican Republic.

Due to the limited operation of the consulate, once we have confirmed that your case meets the application requirements, we will advise you on how to pay the applicable fees and taxes.

Requirements to opt for consular service via AMCHAMDR, 100% virtual:

  1. Letter from the member requesting the Chamber's service - This letter must indicate the applicant's name and position in the company.
  2. Copy of the first page of the applicant's passport - Where the applicant's general information is located. The applicant's passport must be valid (for at least 8 months).
  3. Copy of the last U.S. visa granted - The one to be renewed.
  4. The member must be up to date with its payment obligations with AMCHAMDR.
