With the aim of presenting to its membership and related parties the latest trends in digital transformation seen with Silicon Valley experts and in the context of the new normal, the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic will launch the ““Latam Virtual Innovation Summit 2020.”
The event sessions, to be held on Wednesdays between October 14 and November 12 via an online platform, will consist of five modules covering the experience of Silicon Valley companies implementing new work models and engagement strategies to boost employee productivity.
Additionally, participants will discover how to scale innovation and digital transformation initiatives within their organizations, as well as strategies implemented by the world's fastest-growing companies to create their disruptive culture.
“The arrival of the global pandemic has accelerated the need to transform organizations. In this context, we organized this Virtual Innovation Summit to virtually introduce local businesses to the culture of Silicon Valley, home to the world's leading startups and technology companies.”, said Cristela Comprés, Commercial Services and Membership Manager at AMCHAMDR.
The executive, who announced that there will be a special rate for those who book before August 28, noted that this regional digital transformation program will be carried out virtually, which also facilitates the integration of other AmChams belonging to the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA).
The program, which will be delivered entirely in English, is aimed at C-level executives, middle managers, technical specialists, and entrepreneurs who want to learn more about the culture of the Mecca of innovation. There will be five sessions, each lasting one hour.
Among the topics covered during the five weeks of conferences are "Applied Innovation Culture: Amazon's High-Performance Culture," "Establishing a Corporate Venture Capital Branch," and "Orchestrating Digital Transformation."
Additionally, the topics covered will include "How Agile and Cloud Can Prepare Your Organization for the Future" and "The Importance of People in Transformation: Successfully Hiring, Training, and Planning a High-Performance Workforce."
