Roberto Herrera is a board director and country manager for the Dominican Republic at Interenergy Group. In addition to his duties as president at AMCHAMDR, he leads the Dominican Week Organizing Committee in the United States.

Roberto Herrera is a board director and country manager for Interenergy Group in the Dominican Republic. He serves on all the boards of directors and is the chief executive of the companies managed by Interenergy Group in the Dominican Republic: the San Pedro de Macorís Electricity Company (ENERGAS), the Punta Cana-Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM), the Bayahibe Electricity Company (CEB), the Dominican Wind Group (GEDOM), Interenergy Systems, and the telecommunications company ACTIVA.

He is also a member of the Executive Committees of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD), and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR). He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the latter.

He holds a degree in economics with master's degrees in business administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and a master's degree in economic business sciences from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was a Chevening scholar.
