The Chamber's mission and objective is to promote trade and investment between the Dominican Republic and the United States of America in order to improve the living standards of the people, empowering its members to achieve their full economic, professional, and social potential through access to knowledge, opportunities, best practices, and a culture of Corporate Social Responsibility. To achieve this mission and objectives, the Chamber may carry out the following functions, without prejudice to those recognized by the Law of Associations and its implementing regulations:
a) Obtain and grant loans, with or without guarantee;
b) Issue, accept, endorse and guarantee negotiable documents or instruments or commercial papers, as well as guarantee their obligations;
c) Acquire, through purchase, lease, donation or any other lawful means, the assets necessary to achieve its objectives and, in general, carry out all acts, sign contracts and operations and issue documents that are convenient and necessary to achieve the objectives of the Chamber;
d) Serve as a channel for disseminating information within the scope of its functions on the standards and practices of the markets and the economic system, both nationally and internationally;
e) Organize, coordinate and/or carry out events or activities (courses, seminars, workshops, conventions, etc.) of an informative, educational or discussion nature, in relation to topics linked to its mission and objectives;
